About Robert

Robert Crawford is an 18-year-old racing driver based in Essex. He began karting in summer 2022 at his local outdoor track in Brentwood, where his potential was recognised from the outset.

From his first season, Robert's progression was rapid. What began as weekly race appearances quickly became race wins. He progressed faster than his peers, earning a reputation for technically precise, fair, and consistent driving.

Robert currently competes in the Club 100 Senior Rotax Southern Sprint Championship, other Club 100 events across the UK, RyeHouse ProKarting Series (Team Shadow Racing), and the Brentwood Super League — representing the next generation of motorsport talent.

Some of his achievements to date include Club 73 Youth Champion 2025, and Brentwood All Stars Cup Winner 2025. Robert also ranks consistently in the Top 10 UK SODI Drivers. In 2024, he was named Driver of the Year at Brentwood — recognition of a season that demonstrated not just speed, but maturity and racecraft.

For 2026, Robert makes the step into single-seater racing. He is currently testing GB4 cars with Fox Motorsport, an established Essex-based racing team, having previously impressed Fox in a Ginetta Junior test day. Robert continues to grow his Karting profile meanwhile, having been invited by Club 100 to represent Slovakia at Silverstone in the Rotax Racing Club International Finals. Robert is a UK Citizen and grew up here, but has additional Slovak nationality through his Mother.

GB4 Winter Series

In October 2026, Robert Crawford takes the next step — from karting champion to single-seater racing driver. He will compete in the GB4 Winter Series at Snetterton 300, one of the UK's premier motorsport circuits, with Fox Motorsport.

This is a rare opportunity to put your brand on a Formula 4-specification racing car, in front of a live circuit audience and a national streaming audience, at the start of what promises to be a significant motorsport career. GB4 is the gateway to professional racing including single-seaters and GT in the UK — drivers who come through this series go on to Formula 3, Formula 2, and beyond. This is not a hobby. This is a professional trajectory.

The Event

Date: Saturday 24 – Sunday 25 October 2026
Circuit: Snetterton 300, Norfolk
Team: Fox Motorsport
Format: Qualifying and two races on Saturday; qualifying and two races on Sunday. Each race approximately 20 minutes. Streamed live on the GB4 YouTube channel (to be confirmed).

Thursday and Friday are reserved for testing and free practice — your brand on the car from the first moment of the weekend.

A Day in the Paddock
